The new Thai Mat Massage is like nothing else on our spa menu. This energetic, unique service combines acupressure, Indian Ayurvedic principles, and assisted yoga postures for one-and-a-half hours of balance and relaxation.

Here, we want to introduce you to what makes our Thai Mat Massage and one-of-a-kind experience.

WHAT IS THAI MASSAGE?

Thai massage is one of the world’s oldest forms of massage. This service incorporates massage, acupressure, energy work and stretching into one amazing service.

WHAT IS DIFFERENT ABOUT THAI MASSAGE?

A LOT! For starters, the service is performed on a Thai massage floor mat. Due to the nature of this service, clothing is worn. (NOTE TO SELF, bring non-restrictive, comfortable clothing when you schedule!) The service is also performed without any oil or lotion. The magic is all in the movements and techniques.

HOW IS THAI MASSAGE PERFORMED? (THIS ONE’S IMPORTANT!)

Your massage therapist will use their fingers, thumbs, palms, forearms, elbows, knees, and yes – feet, to perform the massage. Use of our extremities allows us to position your body to make that deep stretch happen. This may catch you off guard, but TRUST US, the results are incredible.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF THAI MASSAGE?

Oh, there are SO MANY. Thai Massage relieves muscle and joint tension and improves flexibility and mobility. This service reduces fatigue and leaves you feeling balanced, restored and completely energized!

The three members of our Spa Advancement Team have been specially trained to offer this service! We’d love the opportunity to introduce you to our latest innovation, Thai Mat Massage. To schedule with us, click on our photos below.
