APPOINTMENT GUARANTEE
To guarantee your appointment time is held exclusively for you, a credit card must be saved to your guest file.

Once securely saved online, in our app, or from your call into our Guest Experience Center, you’re all set!

SAFETY + SECURITY

Once entered, your information is encrypted in the system, and safe + secure.

Our Guest Experts are happy to help you when you’re booking in the salons or on the phone.

If you’re more comfortable, enter your information online at penzonesalons.com or on our app. A small padlock in your browser indicates that the site is secure.

PAYMENT METHODS
While a credit card must be on file to guarantee your appointment time, please know that a variety of payment options are available.

Pay with a PENZONE gift card, an alternate credit card, or even cash.

OUR APPOINTMENT GUIDELINES
Our guidelines were created to deter the very few who frequently cancel + no show their appointments.

Our professionals are commission-based + earn their compensation by completing services. These guidelines help honor their time + talents and support their livelihood.

SAME DAY CANCELLATION
If your appointment is cancelled less than 24-hours prior to the appointment date + time, a 50% cancellation fee may apply.

We’re all human + understand things come up. Our aim is to be understanding of that, especially for our loyal guests.

This allows our artists to accommodate other guests who are often on a wait list!

NO-SHOW
Missed appointments without cancellation may be charged 100% of the service price.

This guideline is for those who often miss appointments + not for those experiencing an extreme circumstance or emergency.

RUNNING LATE
If you are running late for an appointment by 10 minutes or more, we’ll do everything we can to accommodate your service.

If your visit cannot be shortened in the time available, the guideline above may apply.

Artist + Therapist Levels

HAIR ARTIST PROFESSIONAL LEVELS

Stylists:
Our Stylists have an Ohio cosmetology degree and have completed extensive training in all facets of hair care with our highly experienced training department and highly recognized industry educators. Our stylists have many opportunities to continue to grow in their careers through advanced education and giving back to the community.

Designers:
Our Designers have received approximately 12 to 18 months of experience at the stylist level and have fulfilled specified criteria in advanced education and training. Our professionals progress their careers through mentoring, training others and giving back to the community through charity events, fashion shows, and photo shoots.

Directors:
Our Directors have invested and grown within our company and have completed specified criteria in advanced education, training and specialized services. Our professionals progress their careers through mentoring, training others and giving back to the community through charity events, fashion shows, and photo shoots.

Senior Directors:
Our Senior Directors are a select group who have been an active participant in company events and have fulfilled specified criteria in advanced education, training and specialized services. Senior Directors are proven leaders in our salons and are top performing artists. Our Senior Directors average 12 years of experience and have had the opportunity to train throughout the U.S., Canada and Europe. Our professionals progress their careers through mentoring, training others and giving back to the community through charity events, fashion shows, and photo shoots.

NAIL ARTIST LEVELS

Nail Artists:
Our Nail Artists have received a cosmetology degree, Ohio License and have completed extensive training in all facets of nail care.

Master Nail Artists:
Our Master Nail Artists have completed specific criteria through our advanced education, training and specialized certifications. Our professionals progress their careers through mentoring, training others and giving back to the community through charity events, fashion shows, and photo shoots.

Senior Master Nail Artists:
Our Senior Master Nail Artists have completed the Master Nail Artist qualifications and have fulfilled specific criteria in advanced education and specialized services. A Senior Master Nail Artist is a top performer and is a leader in their salon. Our professionals progress their careers through mentoring, training others and giving back to the community through charity events, fashion shows, and photo shoots.

ESTHETICIAN LEVELS

Estheticians + Makeup Artists:
Our Estheticians + Makeup Artists have received a degree from an accredited school with an emphasis in esthetics. On-going training is also provided from our experienced innovation team and from external trainers and industry educators.

Master Estheticians + Makeup Artists:
Our Master Estheticians + Makeup Artists have grown within the company and are ready for the next step. These artists have attained the above qualifications and have completed specific criteria in our advanced education, training and specialty services. Our artists progress their careers through mentoring, training others and giving back to the community through charity events, fashion shows, and photo shoots.

Senior Estheticians + Makeup Artists:
Our Senior Master Estheticians + Makeup Artists have obtained the Master status and have completed our continuous advanced career education and training. These established artists have an average of 12 years of in-house experience and have had the opportunity to train throughout the world. Our artists progress their careers through mentoring, training others and giving back to the community through charity events, fashion shows, and photo shoots.

MASSAGE THERAPIST LEVELS

Massage Therapists:
Our Massage Therapists have a degree from a state accredited massage school. These professionals believe in the wellbeing of our guests and the power of massage. All Massage Therapists are licensed by the State of Ohio Medical Board.

Master Massage Therapists:
Our Master Massage Therapists have the above qualifications and have continued to grow and learn within our company through advanced education and specialized certifications. Our professionals progress their careers through mentoring, training others and giving back to the community through charity events.

Senior Master Massage Therapists:
Senior Master Massage Therapists lead our training team through advanced certifications and they participate in a variety of specialty service offerings. These established therapists have an average of 10 or more years of experience and expertise and have trained throughout the United States on various massage techniques and philosophies.

Standing Appointments

If you’d like to secure the day, time, and salon professional for recurring PENZONE visits, a guest service representative will gladly help schedule standing appointments at your preferred location. Call 614.418.5350 or complete a standing appointment request card located in any of our salon locations.

For Your Comfort

All services include complementary beverages.

We ask that you disclose any medical conditions and/or prescription medications you are taking as some services may be contra-indicated.

Please be assured that your safety is our ultimate goal. All salons, spa materials, and equipment have been professionally sanitized for each guest.

As a precaution, please do not wax or shave your legs 24-hours before receiving a pedicure and avoid tanning 24-48 hours before and after hair removal services.

To preserve the results of your pedicure service, please allow at least 1 hour for the nail lacquer to adequately dry. As a courtesy to our guests, disposable flip flops are available free of charge and can be worn after your service.

For your comfort, smoking is not permitted in any of the PENZONE Salons + Spas.

We request that you leave all jewelry and other valuables at home as Charles Penzone, Incorporated is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

To protect your clothing, we ask that you wear a robe or smock that we provide.

For your convenience during spa services towels, robes, slippers, and lockers for personal items are provided. While we do provide spa sandals for you to wear, you are also welcome to bring your own if you wish.

Payment is accepted at the end of your visit at the guest service desk. We accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, debit cards, or cash as forms of payment.

If a PENZONE gift card is your form of payment, we require that you bring your gift card with you and present it to the guest expert upon checkout.

Electronic gift cards also require a picture ID when used for payment.

Personal and travelers checks are no longer accepted as a form of payment.

Gratuities

Tipping is always left to your discretion. For your convenience, we offer personal tip envelopes. Please note that gift cards cannot be used for gratuity.

PENZONE Kids' Guideline

Everyone deserves to be treated to a salon experience. We welcome junior guests of all ages to enjoy our services. For children without an appointment (and under the age of 10), we ask that they stay in our welcome zone with an adult.

Retail & Returns

The PENZONE Salons + Spas are dedicated to offering the finest hair, skin, and nail care products in the industry.

We want you to love everything about your PENZONE experience. If you’re not 100% satisfied with your retail products, you may return them with a receipt within 14 days of purchase.  However, gift cards are not refundable.

Refunds are issued in the same manner as the original purchase except for cash sales. No cash or check purchase refunds will be made at the salon. All cash and check purchase refunds are processed via check mailed to guest. Even or like exchanges may be permitted at the discretion of the salon management.

Gift cards are non-refundable and not redeemable for cash or credit.

Gift Cards

Gift cards from PENZONE Salons + Spa make the perfect gift for any occasion! Gift cards are available in any increment. Gift cards can be purchased in any salon location, over the phone, or online.

Please note that gift cards cannot be used for gratuity.

For larger dollar amount gift card purchases, or if you are experiencing any difficulties buying a gift card online, please contact Guest Service at 614.418.5350.

Online gift card purchases can be received in two ways:

Electronically. Electronic gift cards are sent to you, or the gift card recipient, immediately via email with a link to a PDF that can be printed and used without delay.

By Standard U.S. Mail. Gift cards will be sent to the billing address or recipient address, depending on your preference. Gift cards will be packaged in traditional PENZONE gift card packaging and will include a service menu. Please note that delivery is 7-10 days.

An Electronic Gift Card is a gift card that is emailed to you or your recipient immediately after completion of the purchase. After receipt of the email, the recipient can click on the PDF attachment, print or save the file, and redeem at any of the PENZONE Salons + Spas.

PENZONE Electronic Gift Cards are non-transferable. Recipients must provide photo identification that matches the name on the Electronic Gift Card.

A legible copy of the Electronic Gift Card and proper photo identification must be presented at time of payment.

Electronic Gift Card which are illegible, copied, or modified in any way will be considered null and void.

Charles Penzone, Incorporated is not responsible for the proper functionality of PC or MAC hardware, software or e-mail. Technical problems with Electronic Gift Cards must be received by Charles Penzone, Inc. within three days of purchase.

PENZONE gift cards are redeemable for retail products and/or services up to the balance available. Your gift card must be presented at the time of payment. Gift cards are non-refundable and not redeemable for cash or credit. Gift cards cannot be duplicated if lost, stolen, or damaged.

Beyond the medical grade cleaning products we use and daily professional cleaning services each of our salons + spas receive, our team is going above and beyond to surface clean high traffic areas and keep things clean and tidy for all. Hand sanitizers and various personal care products have, and will continue to be accessible and available to all in our salon + spa locations.
