We’re feeling so inspired by this season’s trends collection. It’s incredible that the trends range from soft and sweet to edgy and unique – all in the name of individuality. This season, we’re pairing our brand pillars up with the season’s trends and that’s how we’re presenting the collection.
PENZONE IS ENLIGHTENED.
Our guests have modern, informed looks. They’re on trend because our artists support them to be the best version of themselves. They’ve found the confidence in rocking their natural curls – what’s more enlightened than that? They can go (almost) au natural with a quick flat iron wave and minimalistic makeup – and look fantastic doing it.
2019 enlightened hair + makeup trends.
Big, Fluffy Natural Curls – step away from the straighteners and embrace those curls. Whether it’s natural ringlets, or big, fluffy curls, they’re all in this season!
Blonde Balayage – we’re seeing dimensional honey blondes. You know, that beautiful sun-kissed look.
Chocolate + Caramel Balayage Blends – hues of delicious chocolate are “it” this season. Be it an all over color, a chocolate balayage or caramel highlights, the look is sure to be deliciously beautiful.
Glowing Skin – go for the glow, girls! A little highlight on the cheekbones will help you look luminous this Spring and Summer.
Monochromatic Makeup – all the rage this season are looks where the eyes, cheeks, and lips are all in the same tone – especially orangey peach colors.

Our guests are adventurous and bold. They’re uniquely their own being and we love being able to help them express the outer version of their inner self. It’s long, loose waves, the latest fashion color or even chopping off those locks to feel lighter and free.

Long Lobs With Textured Waves – are here to stay for another season. This lived-in, relaxed look is comfortable, yet polished.
Metallic Balayage – capture all the shine with a beautiful metallic balayage. Colors can be soft and iridescent or more bold for beautiful dimension.
Rooted Fashion Colors – this is THE WAY to pull off boom ka-pow hair in the most natural way possible. We all know that pink hair may not exist in nature (darn it, why not?!), but having darker roots make the vibrant shade look less foreign by balancing it out.
High Impact Lips – yes, black lipstick is a thing and totally can be worn for a strong, daring look.

Our guests pay particular attention to trends and are empowered to explore them. Be it a beautiful balayage, pompadour or even an edgy shag with an on-trend curtain bang, our skilled artists can make the magic happen.
2019 focused hair + makeup trends.
Shag Cut With Curtain Bangs – a throwback to the rocker looks of the 80s, shags with a center part and curtain bang are full of movement and personality. The look can be worn short, or long.
Makeup In-Check – we love a daring makeup look, but having a little restraint goes a long way for a gorgeous look. If you’re wanting a bold lip, minimize the eyes. Let the color be the star. And speaking of, opt for orangey reds and berry pinks for the win.
Soft, Matte Pink Lips – always a staple, the pink lip is flirty, feminine and focused.
PENZONE IS STRONG.
Our guests go for the gusto. When it comes to their look, they own it! Rocking a natural gray, shattered blunt bob or flirty pixie takes guts – and we’re so proud that exude the confidence to do so.
2019 strong hair + makeup trends.
Shattered Blunt Bob – the one-length perimeter of this bob is the definition of strong.
Playful Pixies – As the saying goes, “a woman who cuts her hair is about to change her life.” Feel free to let go of the length. Short hair can be so feminine and fun.
Black Midnight Magic Tones – add mega shine and dimension to an all-black color with hints of purple and midnight blue. It’s subtle, but MAKES this color trend.
All That Shimmers – with a swipe of metallic color or shimmer on the eyelids, can be played up or down depending on the occasion. Pair it with sheer, berry lips for an effortless look or something with a little more POP for all-out glam.

Our favorite element of the campaign is the confidence each model brought to the set. They owned it and felt totally confident as a person and as a PENZONE guest. We believe there’s nothing more beautiful than that.
