Matthew joined The Charles Penzone Salons in 2011 first serving as Vice President of Strategic Planning and was promoted to Chief Operating Officer in 2013. He is responsible for the vision, strategic growth and general operations of the salons. Matthew began his career as a consultant with Andersen Consulting working for a number of clients across multiple industries. He went on to pursue a passion in retail, becoming Director of Center Store Operations for L Brands and later First Vice President of Customer Experience at JPMorgan Chase.
Matthew received his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Dayton and his MBA from Columbia University. In his free time, Matthew enjoys biking, traveling and spending time with his wife and three children.
