Does your company conduct background checks?

Yes, we perform backgrounds checks on all new hires prior to their start date.

Do you provide Health Insurance?

Medical benefits will be available to team members who clock-in an average of at least 30 hours per week after their first year of employment.

Dental/Vision Insurance -Team members who work approximately 20 hours a week are eligible for this benefit the 1st of the month following 60 days.

How often does your company recruit for the Hair Associate Program?

We recruit 3 times a year based on when our Stylists open their books.  Our hiring numbers change based on our recruiting needs.

If you choose to leave, the employment agreement is SIMPLE. You will not contact or service PENZONE guests for a period of 8 months and you won’t provide competing services within a 17 mile radius of the salon you worked for 8 months. What is the minimum age to work at your company?

The minimum age required for our company is 16 years old.  If you are under 18 years old, you must be able to provide a work permit if hired.

What if I am a referral of a current team member?

Please indicate who referred you to PENZONE Salons + Spas directly on your application before submission.

If a position was posted a few months ago and is still posted on the Careers page, is it still open?

Yes, if a position is listed on our website it is considered open.  Some positions have multiple openings and may remain open for longer periods of time.

After I apply online, how will I know my resume/application has been selected?

You will receive an email confirmation that your application has been received.  Please keep in mind the recruiting process takes time and you will be contacted if your experience and availability meet the required qualifications of the position.
